Last Tuesday my friend invited us to go roller skating with her family at a local rink. It was $2.oo Tuesday so it was packed! And hot! These pictures were taken before any skating took place. Cali and Bella have not skated much before if at all so it was really quite an experience. You know how they say that the most valiant spirits were saved for the last days, I know that is true with my little Bella. She is the most stubborn child I have ever met. She would not let me help her skate, she was on her bottom more than on her feet :) and she would not let me help her up, nothing! So, it took her, Cali and me about ten minutes to make it around the rink one time. And in that time I got pummeled by some teenage kid who was playing chase and smacked right into me. :) All part of the skating fun though. I am impressed with the rink and we are hoping to go back before school starts. It was way fun!

I love roller skating!! We took the YW a few weeks ago and we had a blast. I actually think Emily and I had more fun then the YW.
Ditto on what Kelly said...the two of us had way more fun than the YW! Gotta love good ole roller skating!
