Summer Days

Our summer has consisted of lots of different things. Mostly we swim and hang out and do things here and there with friends. Our days are busy but this has probably been the best summer ever. We are having fun and are enjoying our free time. I have posted a few random pictures of us during the last week. I put captions under them. We are not looking forward to school starting again but we still have quite a bit of time left so we are happy. We are planning a trip to Dallas in a couple weeks and we are looking forward to seeing all our friends again.

This was so crazy to go to the park in Houston, in July, right in the middle of the day!!! My friend's little boy said he felt like he was in the bbq! Yeah! That is the perfect description. This was the gang when we left. Hot and sweaty mess!Braelyn was not in the picture so this is her right as we climbed in the car. Shiny face ;)

Cali was pretty sick today. We pulled her hair up on her head and took her picture. She is gorgeous even when she's sick.
Ken said she wanted me to take her picture like this because she looks like me when I get out of the shower. I must look super cute because she looks adorable. I think the pic turned out great :)
As you can see, nothing too overly exciting but this is what fills our days and makes them enjoyable. Well, this and making lots of new friends!!! Friends- wink wink

yes you all are crazy, Braelyn looks SOOOOO grown up! Cali is extreamly adorable even if shes sick, and Kens does look like her momma all the time (also very pretty) Bella you are sooo cutie too. I love you guys and wish we lived closer so we could get hot and sweaty in the "bbq" also!!

I miss you and the girls so much. I am so excited you are coming in soon! Kuulie told me that ya'll are going to try and get a girls night together where you can see everyone and not just at church. I cannot wait to see you. I can use some of your positive energy right now! I am down about this whole Diabetes and Insulin giving thing...My shower is August 28th at Paula's and I am sending you a invite even though I know you can't come, but I want you to know I am thinking of you anyway and wish you were here! Love you!

I like the BBQ analogy. We often say that Houston is like a bowl of hot soup because of the humidity.
