Poor Bird

Well, you may wonder why I never blog. There is not much to blog about!!! Braelyn lost another tooth last week but I WAS NOT about to talk about that again. Life has been very fun and entertaining recently but I have not captured anything with pictures so...

Today my visiting teacher came over and we were talking when all of a sudden a bird hit the window. We kind of laughed about it and went about our visit when it happened a second time, this time much harder (and louder). I jokingly said, "I wonder if there's a d e a d bird out there." My friend looked and there was! How sad is that!!!! I have attached a picture, kind of gross and creepy but so sad!!!! I just thought I'd share what happened out of the norm today. ;)

Keep posted because there is lots coming up for the next three weekends that I will be putting on our blog. Until then, don't keep your windows too clean. Birds are dying.

Where's A Man When You Need One???

I think the picture says it all!

Losing Teeth Left and Right

Okay, so the Tooth Fairy will hit two birds with one stone tonight. Braelyn walked out about thirty minutes ago and she pulled her tooth out too. We have teeth falling out all over this house in one night. How crazy is that! There must be something in the air. Our air conditioner broke today too and so any of you who knows us knows this happens in EVERY SINGLE house we live in. I would much rather prefer the crazy teeth action over that! :)

Cali Lost Her First Tooth!!!

After much wiggling this is what we get! It was a great feeling to finally get that thing out. I felt as though we just gave birth to a baby. Okay, so that's a wee bit theatrical of me but it was a good thing. Calissa's dentist told her last year that it would be the end of her first grade year (almost 7 years old) before she would lose her first tooth. She was exactly right on the money. If any of you in the Frisco area are in need of the best pediatric dentist her name is Dr. Kelli at Frisco Pediatric Dentistry(just a little plug). They are amazing there! All of us are so happy for Cali and she looks adorable!

What Woman Wouldn't Love This???!!!

Okay, last time I promise (well at least until the show comes back on later this year). I really feel like I have no life when all I do is blog about Survivor. This time is different, I am not going to share how I felt the last episode went although I wasn't my happiest! I just want to share what Ozzie said during his speech and how can any woman's heart not melt? Oh my gosh...

Happy Birthday Nonny Bo!!!

Kensington turns 9 today. Who can believe how fast time goes by? I remember the day she came into our lives and reflect on that today. She has always had a strong personality and is determined which is an awesome quality at this time in the world. She is turning into one of the most giving children I know. She is always sharing what she has. She has even been sharing her birthday money with her sisters so they have something too and she is determined to take me out to dinner with her birthday money. She is so sweet and I always wonder how I am so blessed with her and her sisters in my life.

"Kings and Queens and Bishops, too, we want to wish the best to you! So, wish day, wash day, what do you say: Birthday! Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday To You! Honk honk, beep beep, awooogah! Waddle waddle. We love you boobie!

Heartfelt Gifts

The girls and I had a pretty good Mother's Day. We woke up and went to church in Dallas and got to see a lot of our friends. Angel and Michael and their family brought a picnic lunch for us to all enjoy together. It was really nice, even though it was a bit chilly out for some odd reason when the day before it was hot and humid!!! We left Dallas to come back to Houston at 3:15 and our trip started out badly. My girls were at each other's throats, well all of them except Kensington. They were being so bad, Bella was antagonizing Cali and Cali was so whiny about everything. Brae was arguing with them both and at one point I had to pull our car over on the shoulder and threaten a life. I won't disclose whose life it was. After that our ride went much more smoothly. We were on schedule to arrive in Houston at about 7:15 so we could start our Survivor Finale 'party' with the Hairs. At about 6pm traffic came to a dead halt on the highway and after a few minutes everyone on the highway was out of their cars to see what was happening. We all got out of our car too and we stayed out until 7:30pm. There was a bad accident and 3 life flights had come in and back out. It was a sad thing to happen on Mother's Day. We ended up home at 9pm and missed Survivor but thank goodness for modern technology and TiVo! :) The girls wanted me to post the gifts they so happily gave me when we got home that night. They all gave me presents. It was a good day overall and we were thankful to be standing on the highway for an hour and a half and not the ones in the accident.

He Chose His Integrity Over A Million Dollars!

Of course I have to blog about Survivor, but it won't be long. I just want to say that Eric is a good person in life but not a great player on the show. He is too naive! I felt sad that he did a good thing by offering a sacrifice to redeem his morals and he got kicked for it. Hopefully he will not walk away a changed person because he got screwed over when he did a good thing. He chose his integrity over a million dollars, that says a lot to me about who he is! Way to go Eric! :)

Happy Mother's Day

We are going to Dallas this weekend so I will not be here for Mother's Day so I wanted to make this before hand. I love this commercial so much. It is wholesome and touches my heart. May you all have a meaningful Mother's Day. I love you. Remember 100% juice for 100% kids. :)

An Afternoon In The Life...

So, I want to blog about something that actually has to do with our family and post some recent photos. I took these this afternoon of all of us doing what we do. Now you know why I haven't posted anything for awhile because this is what our days consist of... not too much of anything exciting. Bella and Cali were playing house. Kensington is showing her school book that is so scary and Braelyn was working on her recorder practice. I am in line waiting a half hour to pick up my s from school. You see it's so boring I take pictures of myself in the car. Ha ha ha. Although this post is pretty light one serious thing occurred today in that Bella cleared her dinner plate which is a small feat for her and a BIG victory for me. I finally found something she likes to eat! Yes, Score!!!Please note the broccoli on her forehead and in her hair. She devoured it!!!! :)

Perfecting the Art of the Blindside

So, this is sick and pathetic that I have blogged twice in a row about Survivor but we are the worlds' biggest fans so......you have to know it's been a family tradition with the Hair's for about 6 years or more. Every Thursday we get our families together to watch and we play along. We have a poster with our names and a Survivor paired up with each of us. We have a 'Sole Survivor' too who gets a $5 gift card to Sonic if they win. We get very involved to say the least.

Last night may have been the best Survivor. Amanda not only has the best name in the world but she is an amazing player. She has really played a smart game and she is who I am pulling for! We are still on cloud 9 after she pulled out her immunity necklace after leading everyone on to think she didn't have it. Go Amanda (Shannon)!!!

Okay, so I have a life and it's been super busy but not really anything to blog about. A lot of homework and yard work and housework. Who wants to hear about that :)
